User journey & Future digital vision for an international agriculture company.
Challenge: In recent years there have been a lot of digital initiatives in this company’s production sites. However, they lacked an overview of how these initiatives actually fit in to the employees everyday. This project aimed to map out the production team members’ working days and understand how digital solutions fits into this. The outcome helps set a standard for the future digital journey at this company, and to achieve a more streamlined and consistent experience for everyone on site.
Solution: To build this overview, Designit used existing information as well as qualitative research conducted at their productions sites in Norway and the Netherlands. Based on this, the team created an as-is map showing the production roles’ current tasks and pain points, a digital vision, with both short term and long term actions to address these paints-points, and an ideal journey for one of the roles, to see how the vision could be implemented in a concrete context.
